A teacher at a New Jersey Middle School gave students an assignment pressuring them to convert to the “true faith” and celebrating the slaughter of Christians. However, as soon as one mama bear saw her child’s homework, she unleashed a brutal counter-attack that had the teacher immediately regretting the sick lesson.
In April 2017, Christian mothers Libby Hilsenrath and Nancy Gayer uncovered that New Jersey’s Chatham Middle School was allowing teachers to proselytize Islam to children, going as far as forcing them to watch propaganda videos that not only coaxed children to convert but viciously reviled Christianity and Judaism with violent hate speech.
Although the mothers have been persecuted as “Islamophobes” and racists and have failed numerous times to get the school board to stop this flagrant Islamization in the classrooms, Hilsenrath has finally found a brilliant way to make sure the district hears her loud and clear.
Nearly one year after exposing Chatham Middle School’s disturbing pro-Islamic agenda, Christian mother Libby Hilsenrath has filed a massive federal lawsuit with the Thomas More Law Center against the New Jersey school district, charging that they have violated the First Amendment rights of children by denying them freedom of and from religion, according to local news outlet Tap Into Chatham.
The monumental lawsuit quickly caught the school board’s attention after 11 months of ignoring Hilsenrath and attempting to silence her on their incitement of young students to convert to Islam.
TMLC’s affiliated New Jersey attorney, Michael Hrycak, filed the lawsuit. TMLC staff attorney, Kate Oliveri, the principle drafter of the federal complaint, observed: “The Board of Education and other Defendants are waging a war against the religious protections afforded by the First Amendment. They attack religious liberty by enticing young school children with a direct call to convert to Islam and providing a step-by-step guide on how to effect that conversion.”
While the school claimed that it was simply teaching students about Islam, the assignments they allowed a teacher to use were found to have been proselytizing Islam to children. Rather than explaining to students that “this is what Muslims believe” and aren’t necessarily true, the curriculum presents each Islamic tenet as fact, including the notion that Islam is the one “true faith” and that Christians are “infidels” who follow a false religion.
Some of the Islamic claims that the assigned video purports as facts include:
- “Allah is the one God who created the heavens and the earth, who has no equal and is all powerful.”
- “Muhammad (Peace be upon him) is the last & final Messenger of God. God gave him the Noble Quran.”
- “Lo, We have sent thee (O Muhammad) with the truth, a bringer of glad tidings and a warner.”
- “What is the Noble Quran? Divine Revelation sent to Muhammad (S) last Prophet of Allah. A Perfect guide for Humanity.”
- “The Noble Quran: Guidance, Mercy and Blessing for all Mankind.”
- “The Noble Quran: Without any doubt and an eloquent guide from Allah.”
- “The Beautiful Quran: Guidance for the wise & sensible.”
- “Islam: A shining beacon against the darkness of repression, segregation, intolerance, and racism…”
Perhaps the most disturbing aspect of the curriculum, which involves nothing more than videos which teach how to convert and encourage children to do so, is that the video includes an Arabic poem that praises the prophet Muhammad’s slaughter of innocent Christians, including children, for refusing to convert.
The poem, which is called “Qaseedah Burdah,” states:
“He [Muhammad] kept on encountering with them (infidels) in every battle until they looked like meat put on butcher’s bench (they were the lesson for those who were willing to encounter with the Muslims)” (parenthetical in original).
“It is as though the religion of Islam was a guest that visited every house of those (infidels and was) extremely desirous for the flesh of enemy. . .” (parenthetical in original).
“(The Muslims made their) white shining swords red (with the blood of infidels) after they were plunged; (and the majority of) enemies were having black hair (i.e., most of them were young).” (parenthetical in original).
Students were also instructed to watch a second propaganda video, which included a cheerfully illustrated cartoon in which a child is witnessed to by a Muslim friend before converting and heading off to pray to Allah. The video also teaches students the Shahada, which is the Islamic creed that infidels must recite in order to convert to Islam: “There is no god except Allah and the prophet Muhammad is his messenger.”
Disturbingly, the damage has already been done to some of these impressionable young people. They gobbled up the propaganda without the thought ever crossing their minds that their trusted educator would present them with bias material and downright lies.
They were never taught about Muhammad’s mass beheading sessions, rape sprees, enslavement of black Africans, or his marriage to a 6-year-old child. The Quran’s commands to decapitate infidels, beat disobedient wives, and accumulate unlimited sex slaves were never mentioned, despite making up the very foundation of Islam.
Hilsenrath has been ostracized in her community and across the U.S. She faces threats by devout Muslims, as the Quran commands, and continues to risk her life in order to expose the Islamization taking place in the education system. Now, she dedicates her time and energy to a federal lawsuit in order to stop religious propaganda, liberal lies, and flagrant proselytizing taking place in American children’s classrooms.
